
Vickie Setzer
Senior Paralegal
Vickie is a native of Wilkes County, North Carolina. Vickie graduated with Honors in 2000 upon completing her formal Paralegal education at Surry Community College in Dobson, North Carolina, with an Associate in Applied Science Degree Paralegal Technology. In 2005, she became one of the first 100 paralegals to be recognized as a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal. Vickie has been employed with Chad Brown Law since May of 2010. Vickie has twelve years’ experience in all areas of Social Security Disability with a primary focus now in the areas of Appeals Council and Federal Court appeals. Vickie was nominated and elected as an Executive Council Member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Legal Assistants Division Section Council beginning July 1, 2005 and expiring on June 20, 2008. Vickie also served as the 2006-2007 Chair for the North Carolina Bar Association’s Legal Assistant Division Ethics Committee. In December of 2019, Vickie followed the calling of the Lord in becoming a voice for abused and neglected children achieving the designation of a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) for the 23rd Judicial District. When not working for Chad Brown Law or acting in her capacity as a GAL, Vickie enjoys traveling with her husband, Doug, and their pet boxer, Gracie.
